In one of the most captivating runs through the tournament, Butler's amazing bid at the National Championship ended with a crowd of 71,000 fans holding their breath as Gordon Hayward's half court, 3-point attempt bounced off the rim. The Blue Devils' 61-59 win brought a much-deserved fourth national title back home to Coach K and Duke's storied program.

Butler took down powerhouse Michigan State in this low scoring down-to-the-wire thriller. The Spartans' Draymond Green pulled the game to within one with 56 seconds left on the clock.The Bulldogs held and took the nation's best winning streak to the next level for a shot at the title.

Duke flew past West Virginia on their way to the title game with a lopsided 78-57 win in the national semis. Jon Scheyer, 23 points and Nolan Smith, 19 points led the Blue Devils to victory and their first trip to the National Championship since they won it back in 2001.

Duke's Nolan Smith scored a career-high 29 points as the Blue Devils knocked off Baylor 78-71. The win marked the school's 11th Final Four berth under Coach K. Duke went on to beat West Virginia decisively in the semis and then ultimately taking home the 2010 title.

The fifth-seeded Spartans headed to their second straight Final Four after Raymar Morgan's free throw sealed the victory with less than 2 seconds left on the clock. The Spartans' Durrell Summers led the night with 21 points, as the 70-69 victory over Tennessee propelled Michigan State to a matchup against a now infamous Butler squad.

Butler continued its fabled run through the tournament. Gordon Hayward's 22 points helped bring the Bulldogs' 24-game winning streak to downtown Indy for their first Final Four appearance in school history. Butler went on to beat powerhouse Michigan State and landed a co-starring role in one of the most exciting title games of all time.

West Virginia edged out Kentucky 73-66 and advanced to the school's first Final Four visit since 1959. Freshman phenom John Wall led the night's scoring with 19 points while WVU's defense closed down lanes and kept the Wildcats' big men in check. The next stop for the Mountaineers was in Indy.

Led largely by LaceDarius Dunn's 23 points and ultimately a 29-point halftime lead, Baylor routed Saint Mary's 72-49. The win propelled the Bears on a collision course with the eventual national champion Blue Devils. LaceDarius Dunn's 23 points also helped set a Baylor single-season record of 682 points.

Tennessee advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history as the Volunteers held off Ohio State in a thrilling 73-76 win. Despite Evan Turner's outstanding offensive performance of 31 points, a stingy Volunteers' defense denied the Buckeyes any last minute heroics following Brian Williams' go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left on the clock. Tennessee headed to the next round where they took on a tough Michigan State squad.

Fresh off a tremendous upset win over Kansas, Northern Iowa held their own most of the way against powerhouse Michigan State. In end, however, the Spartans' defense limited the Panthers to only one point in the final 2:30 of play. The Spartans' Durrell Summers led the night with 19 points as the 59-52 win earned Michigan State a trip to the Elite Eight where they took on a motivated Tennessee Volunteers.

In a decisive 70-57 win, Duke rolled past Purdue on their way to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2004. Duke's Kyle Singler finished a solid night with 24 points, while Purdue's JaJuan Johnson posted a respectable effort as well with 23 points. The Blue Devils went on to defeat Baylor and move one steps closer to becoming the 2010 national champions.

In this instant classic, Kansas State pulled out a 101-96 victory against Xavier in this high-scoring double-OT thriller. Jordan Crawford's career night of 32 points was highlighted by a 3-pointer to tie it up in the final 6 seconds of OT. Kansas State continued their deepest run in the tournament since 1988 as they went on to face a now infamous Butler squad.

West Virginia's decisive 69-56 win over Washington helped set a school best 30-6 record for the year. Kevin Jones led the night with 18 points as the Mountaineers moved one win away from taking on eventual national champs Duke in the Final Four.

Kentucky ended Cornell's captivating run through the tournament by issuing a 62-45 rout in front of what was essentially a home crowd at the Carrier Dome. Cornell struck first by jumping out 10-2, however Kentucky soon closed the gap and never looked back. The win clinched Kentucky's berth in the Elite Eight and a chance to square off against a tough West Virginal squad.

Butler upset top-seeded Syracuse 63-59 and advanced once again during their mesmerizing run through the tournament. Both teams battled it out until Butler took the lead with 2:30 left on the clock and never looked back. The Bulldogs extended their winning streak to 23 and moved one step closer to a historic title game.
