The Bruins knocked No. 3 seed Pittsburgh out of the tournament with a 64-55 win at the HP Pavilion. The second seeded Bruins led the game the whole way with the help of a stingy UCLA defense which held Pitt to 38 percent from the field. The win advanced UCLA to the Elite Eight where they matched up against the Kansas Jayhawks, a team they had beaten four out of their last five meetings in the tournament.
