UCLA beat No. 1 seed Memphis 50-45 to earn a trip to its first Final Four since 1995. Although this was the lowest scoring regional final since 1986, UCLA did not seem to mind as they celebrated their program's return to prominence after more than ten years of disappointment in the tournament. The Bruins went on to hold LSU to 45 points as well in their ensuing Final Four win.
