Tajuan Porter tied the regional record with eight 3-pointers as Oregon held off UNLV's comeback late in the game. With only :10 left, UNLV's Joe Darger brought the game to within two following a 3-pointer, however Bryce Taylor sealed the game moments later with two clutch free throws. Ultimately it was Porter's amazing 33 points that led the Ducks to victory and a chance to square off against reigning champ Florida in the Elite Eight.

The nation's highest scoring team rolled past the Oregon Ducks in a decisive 104-84 win that paved the way to a Final Four matchup against Maryland. Oregon's Frederick Jones tried to keep this shootout closer by scoring an impressive 32 points, however Nick Collision and Drew Gooden combined forces for a total of 43 points as the Jayhawks became the first team to breach the century mark in a regional final since UCLA did it back in 1995.

Frederick Jones' slow night ended when he made the game winning layup in the final 2.8 seconds of the game. After trailing by 13 at the half, Oregon came back and barely edged out Texas 72-70. Luke Jackson and Luke Ridnour led Oregon's offense with 25 and 20 points respectively. The Ducks advanced to the Elite Eight where they lost to Kansas 104-86.
