Tennessee advanced to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history as the Volunteers held off Ohio State in a thrilling 73-76 win. Despite Evan Turner's outstanding offensive performance of 31 points, a stingy Volunteers' defense denied the Buckeyes any last minute heroics following Brian Williams' go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left on the clock. Tennessee headed to the next round where they took on a tough Michigan State squad.

The Florida Gators captured their second National Championship in a row by beating Ohio State 84-75. This was the first time a college had won back-to-back since 1992. Despite a great performance from Ohio State's Greg Oden, who had 25 points and 12 rebounds, Florida took control early in the first half and never looked back. The win also vindicated several players' decision to delay their plans for the NBA to have a shot at winning two in a row.

When star Greg Oden got into foul trouble early, the rest of the team stepped up and carried Ohio State to a 67-60 win over Georgetown and scored the Buckeye's their first trip to the title game since 1962. Ohio State's Mike Conley Jr. came through with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds. When Oden did get back in the game, he added 13 points and eight rebounds, all in the second half alone.

Greg Oden's early foul trouble didn't stop him from leading the top seeded Ohio State Buckeyes on a 20-8 run in the second half to defeat Memphis 92-76. Senior Ron Lewis' 22 points further propelled the Buckeye's to their 21st straight victory and a chance to beat Georgetown in the Final Four.

In a great come from behind win, the Ohio State Buckeyes rallied behind Ron Lewis' 18 second half points to beat the Tennessee Volunteers 85-84. With the game tied, Mike Conley Jr. stepped up to the foul line and made one of two in the last few seconds to win the game and advance Ohio State to the Elite Eight where they dominated the Memphis Tigers.
